”From Vision to Vogue: The Birth of Disobedient Designs started as a love for the craft side of fashion. After graduating from fashion school, I explored different paths — from cutting patterns to placing pearls on wedding dresses, working with jewelry and t-shirt companies, and selling in retail stores. Through it all, I realized my true passion was creating with my hands. I began designing heat press tees and painting denim jackets, eventually opening a small store. When the pandemic hit, the store closed, but I never stopped making jackets for people who knew my work. In 2024, while remodeling my house, I found one of the first jackets I ever made. Wearing it again brought so many compliments, it felt like life was nudging me not to forget that part of myself. So here we are — launching this website, one jacket at a time. I’m nervous, because online sales are new to me, but I’m excited to share what I love. Each piece is made with heart, edge, and a whole lot of attitude. .”
